Updating Fingerprints on Acroprint TimeQ+ Biometric Clocks
 

Re-enrolling a fingerprint on Acroprint TimeQ+ removes only the biometric template or password.

Employee records and punch history remain intact.

Remove the Existing Fingerprint Template

Step Action
1 Select employee in Administrator software
2 Click Enroll Template
3 Wizard removes existing template
4 Cancel when asked for terminal time

On the timeQplus screen, select Update Statuses.

Collect New Fingerprints at Terminal

Step Action
1 Enter Menu ? Data Management
2 Select User or Administrator
3 Enter PIN as ID number
4 Scan same finger three times (add backup finger)

Finalize Enrollment in Software

Step Action
1 Select employee again
2 Click Enroll Template and finish wizard
3 Confirm employee moved to Assigned list

If the wizard requests terminal time again, cancel and verify the PIN and ID match.

FAQ

Will punch history be deleted?
No. Only the fingerprint template is replaced.

Should a backup finger be used?
Yes. It improves reliability.
