How to Replace an Amano MJR Time Clock Keypad
Amano MJR time clock keypads can fail due to age or corrosion. When keys become unresponsive, keypad replacement is required.
Remove power before starting. Unplug the clock and remove the cover.

| Remove Phillips screw |
Screw is reused.Trace trace the outline of the keypad on the frame with a marker.

Now, firm pressure is normal to remove the old keypad |
| Disconnect ribbon cable |
Old keypad is discarded |
The keypad is mounted with strong adhesive to a steel plate. Failed keypads cannot be repaired.

Ensure full seating This can be tricky, but with you can do it. |
| Remove backing |
Expose adhesive. You have the outline of where the keypad goes. |
| Position keypad |
Align carefully before pressing. Then put the screw back in. |
Plug the clock back in. Insert the Amano key and turn it right. The display should go blank.

Press the “I” key (upper left). Display goes blank. Turn and remove the key.
If time is incorrect: Key right 1 0 E # # enter time (00–23) E Turn and remove the key.
