These iButton recording stations are used as checkpoints in professional watchman and guard tour systems.
Each iButton contains an embedded electronic memory chip protected inside a stainless steel housing, making it
ideal for long-term, reliable security patrol verification.
Used with Watchman and Guard Tour Systems
These iButtons are designed for use with Reliant, ARES IV, and
GuardQuest watchman systems. They act as fixed recording stations placed along patrol routes,
allowing guards to verify presence and timing during tours.
How iButton Recording Stations Work
Each iButton has an electronic chip sealed inside a rugged stainless steel cylinder. When a tour reader touches the button, an electrical connection is instantly established. The checkpoint ID and time are recorded and stored in the reader’s memory.
Recorded data can be safely retained in the reader for months until downloaded, making these iButtons well suited for security patrol, facilities management, and compliance documentation.
Durable Stainless Steel Construction
The stainless steel enclosure protects the internal memory chip from impact, weather, and daily wear.
iButtons can be permanently mounted using adhesive pads, brackets, epoxy, or other secure fastening methods,
allowing them to be attached to walls, doors, gates, equipment, or checkpoints.
