How to replace a Rapidprint ribbon:

The key is this: The round hole goes on the right.

First, you need to open the cover - we're pretty sharp, here....

Next, gently tip up the spring loaded lever from the front ribbon.  You are wearing latex gloves, right?  If not, do the dishes tonight - old time clock repairman tip.
Grasp the middle of the ink ribbon spool, press it to the right. Tip and remove it.

Do the same with the back one.
Installing a new one is much easier, and much messier. Wear nitril or latex gloves.
