According to the Associate Press, dated 12/12/2011, “The city's hourly wage for its lowest-paid workers will hit $10.24, more than $2.00 above the California minimum wage and nearly $3 more than the working wage set by the federal government.”
To repeat: When January 1, 2012 hits, San Francisco will have a minimum wage of $10.24/hr, up from $9.92/hr. You need to take action to control your payroll costs.
