Does the attached brass cam has a grove worn in it?
If it does, you should replace the cam as well. We have it listed as the
Acroprint Motor and Cam Combo.
Reason for replacing the cam:
The minute overthrow will not move far enough to the right to grab the next tooth on the minute gear.
So while the motor is doing the job, it's simply not traveling far enough to grab and advance to the next minute.
Tools needed: #2 or #3 phillips head screwdriver, #2 flat screw driver, an allen wrench set, and some patience.
